What is the minimum number of chair covers I can hire?

For requirements over 250 please contact us to ensure we can accommodate your order.
Can I order a sample of the chair cover and sash?
Yes, you can order a sample of the chair cover and sash for £4.99. If you place an order for more covers and sash this amount will be taken off the total cost.
I have received the sample and it fits perfectly, what do I do next?
We will send a booking contract for signature; at this point we need a £50 deposit to secure the booking
Can I book for 2009?
Yes, we are now taking bookings for 2009.
How are the chair covers and sashes delivered and collected?
We use a national courier company who will deliver and collect guarenteed 48 hour delivery. Standard delivery charge is £16.50 each way. We deliver 2 days before your wedding.
Where are the chair covers delivered?
We can deliver the chair covers to the venue, home, or work address. We prefer to deliver to home or work, just to be on the safe side. A signature is required to accept the delivery.
How long after my wedding do you collect the chair covers?
We aim to collect on Monday following a weekend wedding. All we ask is that the chair covers and sashes are packed in the boxes and the boxes sealed firmly.
Can I add more chair covers to my order?
Yes, this is no problem up to 1 week before delivery.
What are your chair covers and sashes made from?
For hire we only use high quality polyester twill which is a woven material giving the impression of cotton. We use this material, as it doesn't’t crease easy. All our sashes are sparkling organza/satin.
How much deposit is required to book the chair covers and sashes?
To secure your booking a deposit of £50 is required. This deposit will be refunded once all chair covers have been returned and have been accessed for any damage. If any damage has occurred then the deposit will be forfeited. If extensive damage is caused to a number of covers then a bill will be issued to the lender.
When do I need to pay the balance of my order?
The balance of the order has to be paid 4 weeks before the date of the event.
Do you offer a set up service?
Yes, unfortunately this service is only available within the Northeast of England. However, please check back regularly as we are currently expanding our set up services to other parts of the United Kingdom. For prices please click here.
What is classed as damage to the chair covers/sashes?
Minor food & drink stains on the cover and minor shoe damage round the bottom of the chair covers is acceptable and will not be charged for, however more serious marking such as candle wax, crayon, marker pens, burns and rips will be subject to none refund of the deposit.
Why should I choose artificial flowers over real flowers?
There are many advantages to having silk flowers then real flowers. The main advantage is that you can preview your bouquet act before the big day and they will be in perfect condition there is no need to worry about petals dropping or wilting
What if you don't have the style/colours I have in mind?
All our flowers can be adapted to any colour or style of flower. If you can’t find the type of bouquet you are looking for on our site send us a picture and we will be more then happy to provide you with a quote.
Do you deliver throughout the UK?
We will be more then happy to send any flower arrangements to anywhere in the UK. All deliveries of flowers will be sent recorded delivery and will have to be signed for.
Can I make any changes to the bouquets?
You can make as many changes as you like up until two weeks prior to the wedding. A final consultation will take place within the last two weeks leading up to the wedding this is where all final changes will be made.
What is the minimum number of umbrellas I can hire?
The minimum amount of umbrellas that can be hired is 5. There is no minimum order if you wish to buy.
How do I return the umbrellas?
We simply request that you return the umbrellas in the packaging provided and our courier will pick up the items the following day, or the Monday following a weekend wedding.
Is there a deposit required when ordering?
No deposit is required to secure your booking. There is however a £20 damage deposit required to ensure that all umbrellas are returned in perfect condition. This deposit will be reimbursed once items have been returned. If any damage has been caused the deposit will not be refunded.
I like one of your invitation designs but it is not the right colour, can i change the colour?
At Wedding day essentials we are able to customize most of our designs to meet your needs, so if you see anything you like but it's not QUITE right, please contact us and we will discuss ways in which we can make the design better to suit your needs.
Can you provide me with a sample before I place my order?
Yes, the cost of a sample of the design you have chosen is £1.99 including postage & Packaging.
What are the minimum order requirements?
We have a minimum order requirement of 20 items on all stationary including invitations.
Can I change the wording or font of a design?
It’s your wedding you can have anything you want. All we ask is that you provide us with the wording you require and the font style.
How many should I order?
We would recommend you ordering 10% more invitations that you need. This will allow you to add additional guests as space allows.
We cannot always turn around orders for additional items quickly (i.e. within a week or two) so it is useful if you have those extra items on hand.
What happens after I have placed my order?
Once you have placed an order we will be in contact to arrange colours, wording and font styles.
How much deposit do I have to pay?
There is a £50 deposit required to be sent with all bookings referring to chair covers, flowers, chocolate fountain hire and stationary. There are no deposits required for hiring umbrellas.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
All deliveries, excluding hen party accessories, will be sent by recorded delivery and will be sent within two days of order or hire date. Unless otherwise requested.
